In it's fifth year running - Rest with Intention 2021
A very special session of restorative yoga, meditation, Yoga Nidra and setting our desires for 2022 with intention.
This is the fifth year of doing this and each year it gets more powerful!
The difference between an intention and a traditional New Year's resolution is where it comes from.
An intention comes from listening to our heartfelt desires from within our bodies. A resolution comes from the mind and usually has an external motivation.
With gentle and restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra and meditation we will allow our intentions to come to the fore. If you like to have something to write please do - a journal or notebook.
A resolution can come loaded with pressure for some of us. Instead, we will introduce the idea that you don’t have to do or force anything. Just be.
You could set an intention to let go - let go of tension in the body, let go of perfectionism, or let go of old layers of self. Instead of resolutions where you must have an action plan and use all your willpower, an intention is just a sweet, simple idea to embody.
This practice is suitable for everyone and everyone is welcome.

Join Brenda live for some online Rest, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra in the comfort of your home. An hour of breathwork, restorative yoga and a super deluxe relaxing guided Yoga Nidra. Encourage rest and help let go of stress, anxiety and pain. A practice that is suitable for all levels. For anyone who wants to invite some peace and calm into their life.
You will need a chair or sofa, 4 pillows, 2 blankets, warm cosy clothing and a quiet space for yourself at home.

Get cosy at Ananda Centre with a personalised Restorative Yoga pose (with added Hot Stones), a tailored breath exercise, followed by a deluxe guided relaxation in the form of Yoga Nidra.
Everyone is welcome. All you need is a willingness to rest.
Think cosy, fire lit, warm and comfortable.
