Being Well week of August 29th 2022

Brenda Rock | SEP 1, 2022

Namaste %FIRSTNAME%,

the slow September sun in upon us now. The evenings begin to draw in and perhaps we find ourselves doing the same after the summer. Back to school or learning routines, alarms being set, an extra jumper put on in the evening. All signs that the energy is cooling down and we prepare for darker days ahead. Have you got a winter strategy? Maybe you have started a new course or hobby? Something to keep you occupied and curious for the months ahead. I have yet to figure mine out. I am not quiet there yet as the retreat I teach in Greece will feel more summer than autumn. I will be confused! Happy but confused!

I am heading to this come October with a good friend of mine. It should be good and very informative - https://www.menopausesuccesssummit.com

Many women are unsure whether their symptoms are that of the menopause or peri-menopause. Many GP’s are unsure of menopause symptoms and presentation. As a result many women are misdiagnosed with other conditions. This is the NICE list of questions that are often used to determine if you are in Perimenopause (the time before your bleed stops). https://menopausecare.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Menopause-Symptom-Checklist.pdf

If you have any questions please give me a shout.

"By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer."
-  Helen Hunt Jackson, September, 1830-1885

May all be well,

Brenda
